The Road Home was published in 2007, a three year effort of reading hundreds of family letters, diary entries, family poems, other family writings and creating a narrative to tell the story of my mother's family's journey to Oregon during the Great Depression. This book is available at indie publisher, Lulu.com.  It is both in hardback and softback editions.
The birth of my granddaughter, Adelaide, was a gift to my life. But with her living so far away in southern California I was compelled to write and illustrate this whimsical story of an old lady who misses her granddaughter.  Colorful illustrations face text pages that include outline drawings, fun for coloring with your child. The story is told in rhyme and suitable for children aged 3 through 8 ....or much older.  It can be purchased through Amazon books or directly through CreateSpace.com.
On December 9th, I will have both these books, cards and paintings to offer at the annual fundraising event for the Eugene Public Library, Authors & Artists Fair, located in the Atrium of the Lane Events Center at the Lane County Fairgrounds, right next door to Holiday Market.
